The Torin Big Red 5 Ton Chain Block provides an economical hand hoist capable of heavy-duty workloads. The chain block's load-sharing gears provide ease of operation, and the chain block is easy to handle, allowing you to get the job done. This chain hoist is ideal for industrial applications.
- 10,000 lb. lifting capacity is more than enough for most industrial applications
- Forged swivel hooks and latches are extra strong and built to last
- Hand-powered chain hoist uses load-sharing gears to make lifting heavy loads easy
- All rotating components are mounted on roller ball bearings to reduce friction and increase efficiency
- The chain hoist has fully enclosed automatic load brake
- Fully enclosed stamped steel housing allows for outdoor use
- The drop forged suspension and load hooks are made from high tensile steel
- The chain block hooks are fitted with safety latches and are free to rotate 360
- Hardened gears and pinions operate on supported roller bearings, increasing efficiency
- The hardened load sheave with four precision machined chain pockets use roller bearings for smooth operation and low wear
- Hand chain cover and slots accurately guide the hand chain
- Two guide rollers ensure accurate alignment of the load chain over the load sheave
- Zinc-plated high tensile strength chain
